NOTICE OF COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION FOR THE 2025 HUD INDIAN HOUSING BLOCK GRANT (IHBG COMP) GRANT TO CONSTRUCT PHASE 2 OF THE OLSON PROPERTY

This one-time HUD Indian Housing Block Competitive Grant is making funds available on a competitive basis to Indian Tribes and Tribal Organizations. Based on IHBG COMP formula, LNHA is aiming to receive $7.5M under this grant program. The IHBG-COMP program may be used to support a variety of activities that aim at addressing the availability, quality and affordability of tribal housing, including rehabilitation/repair and new construction.

Phase 2 of the Olson project includes a total of 15 lots with an average size of 11,000 square feet per lot which can have either a duplex building or a single-family residence constructed on each lot with the potential to house a total of 10-30 units.

TRIBAL MEMBERS ARE INVITED TO COMMENT and/or ASK QUESTIONS ON THE PROPOSED PROJECT A Meeting will be held on Monday November 17, 2025, from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM at Lummi Nation Housing Authority’s Conference Room.
